Get battery from the TOYOTA e-Chargeair, a small mobile vehicle constantly on the run charging your vehicle!
These “mobility”vehicles are equipped with wireless charging systems which not only charge EVs but the city itself. It also has functions such as air purification and
offers Wi-Fi services.
At CES  in Las Vegas, USA, in January 2020, Toyota presented an overview of a project called ”Connected City, a demonstration city where all resources and services
areconnected in support of the lives of the people.   Using the site of the Higashi-Fuji factory of Toyota Motor East Japan, Inc., in Susono City, Shizuoka pre, which is
scheduled to close at the end of 2020,   They  plan to start construction at the beggining of 2021 and promote the development of a city with an area of approx 708,000m2
(17.49 acres) in the future.As for now,  they build a new city in collaboration with various partner companies and reserchers.
With this project, they intend to build a new demonstration city in a real environment where people can go about their everday lives while they  introduce and verify
autonomous driving,  mobility as a service(MaaS), personal mobility, robotics, smart home technology and artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
The aim of this project is to look at all the resources and services that support the lives of the people and that will be connected with information, while continuing to
generate new vaue and buiness models by quickly driving the cycle of development and demonstration of technologies and services.
Toyot names this area as Woven City because the streets of the city are woven like a net.   They expect to have about 2000 residents, including employees of Toyota
and the parties involved in the project, in the early phase of construction
